How do you feel about cooking?
My family is Sicilian, so cooking good food has always been a staple in my family life. However, my parents became vegan this past year and we have had to get creative. Lately, we have been experimenting with cool vegan recipes and modifying some of our Sicilian traditions. Hopefully, I will be able to try the recipes that we are taught in class at home and make them vegan for my parents.
How do you feel about chemistry?
Chemistry is…. not my favorite thing in the world. I was in Honors Chem in high school but my teacher was intimidating and I hated it. I did not do too well either.
what are your expectations for this course?
I expect that we will have a lot of fun. I love cooking and am excited to make some new things. The chemistry part scared me a little, but after attending two classes and having the course explained to me a little better I am feeling more comfortable about it.
